In a new statement, Qatar Airways says it plans to operate flights from London, Paris, Madrid, Rome, Frankfurt and Bangkok to Hamad International Airport in Doha tomorrow.

It said the decision was taken following the temporary authorisation from the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority that confirmed a safe operating corridor.

"These flights are only for passengers whose final destination is Doha," it said, adding that they "do not constitute a confirmation of resumption of scheduled commercial operations".

The carrier also urged passengers not to arrive at their departure airport unless they hold a valid confirmed ticket for travel.
